Apply through the CALS web site Prospective Students tab, on the Awards, Scholarships and Financial Aid web page. Application forms open November 15 and close March 1 unless otherwise noted below. One application is good for all CALS and CSES undergraduate scholarships. Students may submit multiple career plans and their essay may reflect multiple areas of interest in order to target one or more of the following scholarships. Any additional information beyond that requested on the CALS web site application form can be sent to the specific “Scholarship” link. Examples may include a resume or short letter of reference.

For example, if the scholarship requires senior standing, the student may apply as a junior as long as they become a senior before the following fall semester. Scholarships are awarded per academic year to students enrolled full-time (12 credit hours or more per semester) in the Department of Crop and Soil Environmental Sciences or in the Agricultural Technology Program (Turfgrass Management option).
