The Virginia Tech Agronomy Club is one of the oldest student clubs on campus. The club has 15-30 members. The club has been involved in various public services. The club also closely works with commodity groups such as the Virginia Soybean and Corn Growers Associations. The Agronomy Club is a member of SASES (Students of Agronomy, Soils, and Environmental Sciences) which is a division of American Society of Agronomy (ASA). The Club attends both the regional and national meetings.
The clubs major fund raising activity has been the annual peanut sale. Annually, the club makes over $4000 from peanut sales.
The club meets every other Wednesday at 7pm in Smyth 246A. Next meeting is September 17th
